Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Khartoum
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Khartoum (Latin: Khartumen(sis)) is the Metropolitan See for the Ecclesiastical province of Khartoum in Sudan.
History
- 3 April 1846: Established as Apostolic Vicariate of Central Africa from the Apostolic Vicariate of Egypt and Arabia in Egypt
- 30 May 1913: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Khartoum
- 12 December 1974: Promoted as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Khartoum
